Sometimes we feel so blessed to have such amazing clients. Prior to Coty’s maternity portrait session, we sat down for her design consultation in our Fort Worth studio. She described her vision for her maternity session as casual, fun, and not so serious! Bringing big brother made it anything but boring! What a sweet little guy! This family had such a great chemistry, they were a cinch to photograph.
More newborn baby portraits here at the studio! I could never do enough cuddling with these sweet baby boys. One of my favorite families came for their 2nd newborn session here in the studio. It wasn’t long ago that we photographed big brother Copelan! The two reminded me so much of one another. Sweet, calm, and cuddly. Wyatt wanted to know what was going on at all times so he was hesitant to sleep the entire session. Check him out wide eyed in the basket. Most babies need to be completely asleep for this set but not Wyatt. He was just chilling out and posing like a pro! We were amazed and so tickled!
When Melissa, President of GRRNT, called me about being a part of their annual fundraising calendar, I could not have been more excited. I have always been drawn to Golden Retrievers and their laid back personalities. The pups I worked with nothing short of amazing and I fell head over heels in love with the breed. Interesting enough, their owners were pretty cool too. :-)
Truman and Griffin have been a special part of the Captures by Erin family for a number of years. It seems like yesterday when I did Tru’s newborn portraits! Recently we made time for their birthday photography session and as always, the boys brought on the charm. For their portraits, we decided on the Essentials by Erin line which was perfect for the results we were looking for. This line is a shorter version of our signature Platinum Line. It’s 20 minutes in length and is done only in the studio either indoors or outdoors!
Sydney is such a remarkable young girl and it was such an honor to be her senior portrait photographer! We hit up two locations for some different looks – one a little edgy and the other a little more traditional. Sydney rocked it all and we had such a blast! Sydney will be graduating this year from Country Day in Fort Worth and I have little doubt she will accomplish all of her dreams!
I have a confession. I love babies. I love being a baby photographer. And… I still have baby fever at nearly 40 years old. (Don’t tell my husband!) Each and every time I photograph a new baby boy, it takes me back to all the sweet moments when my boys were little. This year my oldest is graduating from high school but I can still see his big blue eyes staring back at me from his bassinet.
Photographing a young adult in their last year of high school is so inspiring to me creatively. They are always up for anything and aren’t afraid to express their opinions on what they want. Their energy is contagious! Sara was no exception. She has such a sweet spirit and a huge love of dancing. I have no doubt that her passion for life will allow her to achieve all of her dreams.
